Notes

  • This was an experimental recipe, based on a recipe for Firecracker beef found on Instagram. The goal was to attempt to get close to a dish we love from our local Chinese restaurant, which it totally failed to do. However, it was delicious and got good reviews from my kids. I'm gonna keep iterating, possibily moving from a Sriracha base to Gochujang. Anthony had the suggestion to pull inspiration from the Garlic Honey Chicken he makes for us, which I think is a great idea.
