Pecan Tassies

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • filling
  • 1 tbsp soft butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 beaten egg

Directions

Mix softened butter and cream cheese with flour. Refigerate for 1 hour


Preheat oven to 325

Roll into 24 1 inch balls
Press each ball into ungreased mini muffin tin to make little cups (a muddler is the perfect tool for this) you want the dough to fill the cup in order to have a proper filling to crust ratio


Mix filling ingredients and leave pecans aside

Fill each cup 3/4 full with filling and top with nuts

Do not overfill(the filling will rise and it will stick to the pan)

Cook for 25 minutes
