Oven Coven OriginalIngredients
- 2lb Ground Beef (85% lean)
- 1/2 Onion diced fine
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, diced
- 1-2 cloves Garlic, minced or crushed
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup Heinz 57 Sauce
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- Barbecue Sauce for glaze
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients except barbecue sauce in a large bowl until fully combined.
Divide mixture into miniature loaf or muffin pans. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
Remove loaves from oven. Cover loaves with barbecue sauce to glaze, and return to oven for a further 10-15 minutes.
Serve with the usual sides.
Notes
Use the other half of the onion to make a nice onion gravy to accompany.
